Into Many: A feast of metamorphosis
Into Many: A feast of metamorphosis is a performative banquet dinner in which the participants are actively taken on a journey. The thematic focus is on the relationship between non-human species, nature, and humans. Here, human-centered thought and action, as well as the emergence of our dystopian reality, are critically examined and questioned. The setting of the banquet dinner offers the opportunity to collectively resonate. Thus, the participants are important actors. In the performance, which is divided into acts, the participants undergo a speculative transformation into a new being. The multimedia performance plays with all senses. Food, scents, sound, haptics of natural and artificial materials, as well as visuals, are used. The basis of the action and thus the framework is a fictional short story. However, there is no fixed script. Thus it depends on the group of participants. Through the immersive experience, participants are encouraged to become aware of how their actions affect the environment.
