Insektroniken

ds-Insektroniken-01

Insektroniken behave like primitive insects in terms of communication and perception. Initiated by darkness each entity starts to vivaciously communicate with others through fast light flashes and buzzing sounds, activating one another to endure their existence that can only be silenced by brightness.

This communicative chain reaction constitutes the artificial behavior of primitive and simple electronic objects.

Analogous to insects, Insektroniken are able to affect pristine ecosystems by their presence, occupation and usurpation of spaces. Due to their simplistic nature they can be reproduced with little effort and very low-cost components, enabling the production of flocks communicating over long distances within a network structure through chain reactions to eventually conquer every surrounding space.
