Concrete Jungle – A Hardware Sampler for the Embedded World
A hardware sampler with four tracks is supplied with material from the Freesound database via an API interface.
Freesound offers the option of labeling recordings with GEO tags that contain the coordinates of the recording location. The process of [Crate Digging](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crate_Digging) is reduced to the definition of a coordinate on a world map. All available samples within a radius of `n` around a coordinate are collected and sorted parametrically. The device offers 10 different samples to choose from, which can be loaded onto 4 tracks.
The playback speed as well as the sample’s in and out points can be changed, while a 16-step sequencer offers the possibility of arranging.
