Computers have expanded into more and more areas of life. They are already omnipresent in many parts of our private and professional everyday life.

Be­si­des being ad­vi­sed re­gar­ding their dis­ser­ta­ti­on, scho­lar­ship hol­ders will be ac­com­pa­nied by a com­mon in­ter­di­sci­pli­na­ry stu­dy pro­gram.

Whi­le fo­cu­sing on their own pro­ject, sti­pen­dia­ries will be trai­ned in­ter­di­sci­pli­na­ry for a broa­der spec­trum of to­pics as well. The­re­fo­re cour­ses from other ap­p­li­ca­ti­on are­as or ad­ja­cent di­sci­pli­nes, e.g., co­gni­ti­on sci­ence, ex­ten­ding the co­re area of re­se­arch of the gra­dua­te school will be of­fe­red.

Ad­di­tio­nal­ly vi­sit­ing sci­en­tists being in­te­gra­ted in­to the stu­dy pro­gram and of­fe­ring spe­cial cour­ses will fur­ther pro­mo­te in­ter­na­tio­na­liza­t­i­on and ex­ch­an­ge wi­t­hin the gra­dua­te school.

The­re will be re­gu­lar work mee­tings and col­lo­qui­ums of scho­lar­ship hol­ders to en­cou­ra­ge in­ter­ac­tion and col­la­bo­ra­ti­on. Fur­ther­mo­re working groups and work shops will be or­ga­ni­zed on spe­cial to­pics.
