Situative Konversationen

Through simulating a social interaction this project examines the context a conversation is integrated in. The fundamental idea is the assumption that certain external circumstances can cause a conversation to change or even to shift radically.

There is really no reason not to believe that the volume of sound or the brightness of the day temporally shape the way a conversation is proceeding. Even the time of day or mutual interruptions can decide for example how or when a conversation might stagnates or maybe even ends.

Giving a computer program the ability to experience the outer world through extending its skills with certain sensors that monitor a good picture of its surroundings and programming algorithms that let the program analyse more about the interaction and the environment, sensibly extends itself to simulate social interaction with a human being.
